assigning the same task to many people

First off- could someone 'fix' the demo?  It's down

It would be insanely helpful to be able to assign the same task to a group of users, individually.  For example, let's say everyone in a particular work group needs to turn in a progress report or complete a particular form for human resources.

That alone would be helpful, but additional useful enhancements:
-some form of auto-nag
-an overview of who has done it / who has not
-permissions (ie, they can't mark the task done themselves)

I'm not sure if it is kosher to submit multiple requests/suggestions in one thread, but here's another:  it would be nice to have the ability to note who actually shows up for a calendar item (meeting), maybe by the person who originally created the event?

We are redefining these days how permissions and groups work. Part of our plan is to make groups more useful, like being able to assign tasks to groups. Yet I have no idea when we would have something like this working in OpenGoo.

While not fully developed, post ideas to discuss in ideas board. After some sort of consensus on design is reached, post on the feature requests board.

Yes I'm looking forward to this option as well, extremelly useful especially if the option of grouping existing users is available in Groups already! Any progress on that development to assign many users to one of the tasks?
