Running OpenGoo as a desktop application: Prism
«

Hi,
I found a nice way of running OpenGoo without the standard web browser like a typical desktop application:
Using of "Prism" -- see here:
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Prism
and
http://labs.mozilla.com/projects/prism/
I love it.

Nice finding! We may use that for the desktop version of OpenGoo, which will be a locally hosted OpenGoo.

I'm using Prism for a week now and it works very fine. The 0.9 version saves your login and you can add Firefox extensions if needed.

Running Feng Office as a desktop application: Prism is now Webrunner

I see that Mozilla Labs has handed the Prism project to Salsita Software (salsitasoft - dot - com), and reverted to its original name, WebRunner. Works great, presenting Feng Office as a desktop app on Mac, PC or Linux.

R.I.P Prism AKA WebRunner. Ah, here's Chrome Shortcuts!

Sadly, it appears that Salsita Software has dropped support for Prism AKA WebRunner.
The good news is that you can get similar functionality from Google Chrome through their app shortcuts.
