Cannot see milestone page
« on: January 05, 2009, 03:47:47 am »
When I create a milestone, I cannot click anything to get to it.  Either from the overview page, or the calendar page.

When I click a milestone link, I just get a blank gray page.  Sometimes I get a back button.

Also, milestones do NOT display on the TASK page, must be related...

Also, if I take the direct milestone link:
http://goo.mysite.net/index.php?c=milestone&a=view&id=1&active_project=1

and go to it directly in a browser, I get a blank page... ( display_errors IS on )

Does this happen with all milestones? Is there any error messages on 'cache/log.php'? Do you have permissions to read milestones? When editing a task can you assign it to a milestone?

1: yes
2: no, there is not even a log.php file in cache
3. yes, was using admin account and other accounts to be sure
4. yes

I installed on a different server and everything is ok, but I will continue to monitor this thread if you would like to see what the bug was in case other people have it.  I have to assume it's a server configuration issue.  I would be open to giving you a login to the broken site, and access to the output of phpinfo() from the live install to help out.

Try adding task to the milestone by creating a new task and choose the milestone from the drop down. I have this kind of problem as well, but it only happens for the first milestone added onto the workspace. The rest of the additional milestone will appear just fine, even though there is no task associated with it.

Another workaround is by expanding your workspace to all, and set the group by to milestone under your task tab. This will show you the missing milestone.
