I'm not sure of what you mean by this, but currently you can mark a task as being worked on, and when you later mark it as stopped it will measure the time that you spent working on it.

It used to be projects, but we changed it to workspaces because it is a broader term that applies to more scenarios.

No plans for the near future for this, but we would benefit too from an issue tracker. We are currently using OpenGoo tasks.

Documents have revisions. Each time that you save a document a new revision is created. Is that what you mean with revision tracking? And what do you mean by categories?

It has been requested before but we haven't planned it yet.

We are working on it. You will be able to perform several tasks by setting up one cron daemon. One of them would be backups. Others will be email checking, trash purging and sending email reminders.
