Companies - Assign a workspace so it shows in "Time"

I'm trying to find a way to import companies so that under the "Time" tab when i create an entry, for the workspace i can choose the company. This way i can track and report on the companies in the DB of which there will be around 2500.
That way any support work we do for companies i can tell how long my techs have spent with a customer, see all the different techs that worked on a certain companies issues etc.

Or if there is a different way to do this please let me know. Thank you

What about creating a different task per company you are working for, and then adding timeslots for the time worked on them? Regarding the techs used, etc. you may use comments, change the description of the task, may be a custom property, tags, etc.
