Import of Calendar Data and Timezones
« on: September 20, 2010, 03:07:58 pm »
Hello,

I have set my timezone settings to detect browser and importing an ics file. Unfortunately every time I import it (in multiple browsers just for fun) it sets the timezone to my time (PST) - 7 hours for the events. In other words, it is subtracting the time of the other events from GMT twice.

The time appears to be  set correctly on my computer and in Feng Office and when the events are logged the correct time is set. I cannot detect any issues with the ics file with regards to the times and it imports into iCal and other programs with no problems.

By the way, I am seeing this issue both on FengSky (which I am running as a trial) and on my local system.

Any ideas what may be the issue?

Thanks in advance.

Gil

Thanks in advance. I am not sure but this may be a replication of this posting:

I don't know for certain but wanted to mention because it might have an answer in your database.
