'Loading' icon after successful installation
« on: November 16, 2008, 07:31:19 am »
I LOVE THE OPENGOO initiative!!!. It will be a soltion for our NGO!!!!
Yes, I am happy to get it to work after installing the InnoDB patch. But all I get is a loading icon. The information on top of page is there. I could log out and see the admin link, but also after clicking that it keeps on loading.
I am trying to get it to work on my Apple with Leopard, Safari and Firefox. See www.youngfocus.org/office. Login appears. PHP 5.2. What else can I do?
THANKS!

When OpenGoo shows the loading icon forever it probably is a javascript error. If you have firefox you can install an extension calles Firebug, that will let you see javascript errors, debug it, etc.

If you feel that installing firebug is too much work you can set me up a demo installation and I will see what I can get from my firebug.

Strange. ??? What version of Firefox are you using? Did you try other browsers?

I tried Safari too. The latest version of Firefix - I tried to be up to date with these things :) . I wonder if something went wrong when I uploaded the files. Gonna try it again... I work in teh Philippines and the connection here is sometimes terrible. I just wonder that in the process of uploading certain files are not 'complete' due to connection failures during the upload. I'll let u know!
