Archiving?
« on: May 11, 2010, 05:49:57 pm »
Can someone explain the point of archiving to me?

I'm just playing with it for the first time today.   I assume the point is to transfer information out of the main active database so the system remains fast and efficient.   no?

I select an workspace to archive but all the emails remain, except not the emails do not show any classification.     So....   am I missing something?   So far it doesn't do anything that is beneficial since right now I move all dormant workspaces into a "Past Projects" workspace.

Think of it this way, if you complete a year-long project and have no more need to have all the documents, tasks and associated materials clogging up your work space, you archive them to get them out of the way.

Exactly.   That's what I want.

I archive a workspace but the email remains.

Looks like a bug, we'll investigate.
Thanks!
