Owner company already exists

Hi

I have been using open goo for 16months approx with the only issue being email setup.

I upgraded to feng office 1.6.2 from 1.1 and all was good.
I was cleaning out old users and I got as screen that says "Owner company already exists"

I restored my old database and uploaded my back up files but the screen still says the same thing.



Any clues.

Hi, maybe you deleted the administrator user?

To fix the error there has to be a user in the database whose ID is the same as the 'created_by_id' column of the first row in the 'og_companies' table, which I think has to be equal to 1. So if you don't have a user with an ID of 1 give that ID to some user and put that value to the created_by_id field of the owner company.

You are a saviour, that was the exact problem.
I had to log in as another administrator to restor the stateus to the user I moved to 1 I could have just promoted the admin to that place  never mind all sorted.
