Documents - archive feature, what does it do?
« on: March 02, 2010, 03:58:16 am »
I'm trying to think of a way to put old files for workspaces out of the way but keep them in case I need them.

I decided to archive them, but does this compress them at all?  If not, what's the point of archiving?

Also, I started zipping some of them with the compress feature, but it sometimes makes blank .zip files!

The point of archiving is to remove old or completed objects from your working area, to remove clutter. Compression has nothing to do with archiving.

That's what I thought.

The problem with the compression feature is it seems to sometimes make blank zip files???  Is that some bizarre bug?
