Changing user to become Administrator

I have creat a user that has done lots of work already.
Now i wish to promote this user to become an Administrator.

How may I change a User to become administrator?

OK. I am there. I dont see any checkbox to apply this user as administrator.
Please lead me more specific of how I do this.

read this. Specifically for what you're asking but for new users, you can go to Administration, Users, Add User, there you will find "Administrator" yes/no radio button. I'm not aware of any button that changes an existing user, so you can (1) figure out yourself what field to change in the database to mark them as an admin, (2) add the equivalent rights where I first mentioned, (3) delete and re-add the user as an admin, or (4) find the option somewhere else that I'm not aware of.

Administration>>Users>>Update User Profile>>Administrator Options

You may have to change permissions as well.  Changing this option to 'yes' gives them access to the administration panel

Thanks for the info guys. I was having the same problem too. Can't wait to change my user status to Admin.  :)
