When I try to save a HTML after editing it in Feng Office it gives an error,
also afterward when I try to reopen the file I get the same error:

Error:
Cannot read property 'nodeName' of undefined

The error doesn't appear always.

Also it only happens in Google Chrome.

I'm using:
Fengoffice 1.6.2
Google Chrome 5.0.307.1 dev
Mac OS X 10.5.8

Same here, and I wasn't aware it was Google Chrome only.
I tried downgrading, but the same happens with 1.6.1.

When I reload Feng, I am able to edit the file once. After saving and going back to edit this bug shows up. So a "fresh load" makes it able to edit the file.

Really annoying, because it means we can't use Chrome with Feng! And Chrome is pretty fast with Feng, so that kinda sucks.

Anyone has an idea on how to fix this?

This is Chrome 5.0.307.7 beta on the Mac by the way. FF 3 and Safari 4 are without this bug

I'm having the same problem. And it's quite disturbing, because I've lost data in my files.

I have a mac, OSX V 10.6.2, Chrome 5.0.307.7 beta.
I've actually had two different file problems. One is the error message in this discussion.
The second is that I save a file (an html file created in Feng) and close the file. When I come back to it, the file is completely blank, and the two previous revisions are also blank files (the filesize size is 0K). The third-previous revision copy is okay, but of course then I've lost all of the work I added to the file since then.

Hi,

I have Google Chrome 5.0.307.11 on Mac OS X 10.6.2 and it's working fine for me.

Is there any particular HTML content that causes the error or any file with just some text gives the error?

any file with text, nothing special, and we've tried with several computers and files.
so like I said: first time works fine, but if you close and try to re-open it fails. reloading the page in the browser makes it accessible again.
