Installation Error

since we moved to a new host i had to re install Feng office but when I get to Stage 3 and put in the correct database information I get a Error like this:

Failed to connect to database with data you provided: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)

I even tried by creating another database and using another web browser but nothing works... Any ideas?

Also yes all the login info to the database is correct

are you sure the database server as same as the web server?
in some hosting providers (such as the cloud hostings) the database server is deferent by the web server.
is those cases you most replace the database server address or ip with the default localhost value.

I had to change localhost to something else, I guess I didnt have all the new web hosting's info thanks for help though got my brain juices flowing in the right direction
