Changing a client into a user

Greetings,

Is there any way to change a client into a user - and then back again.

If you have a client, and then start a project, it would be good to change them into a user without having to copy all the info over. When the project is over, they could be converted back to a client.

If the client is already a contact I think you can link a contact to a user and therefore keep all the information.  Here is the info in the manual that I found earlier.
