[1.6] dropdown calendar to pick a date missing
« on: December 12, 2009, 03:51:57 pm »
After being on the calendar module the dropdown calendar to pick a date
is not working anymore.
(is there anyone chance to solve this by changing some code chunks?)
Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Do you mean "Go to"?  If so, it works on the 1.6 demo.  Perhaps try a few things like flush your cache, re-download the source files etc to see if you can get it back.

thanks for the quick response!
sorry for the poor description.

I mean when I click on "calendar" in the main navigation the calendar comes up, I then
click to edit an event (or add a new event) and try to change the date by clicking
on the icon for the drop down calendar widget, but the calendar widget is not appearing.
When this happens and I go to the Task-Module (Click on Task in the main navi) to
edit the date of a task by clicking on the calendar icon it is also not appearing.

Thinks I have tried:

This problem only appears when the last calendar view was the weekly view.
Changing to monthly view, logging out, flushing cache, logging in, opening
the calendar module, editing/adding event by clicking on the calendar icon
the calendar widget drops down.
Doing the same routine starting with changing to weekly view the widget won't drop down.

Changing to weekly view, logging out, flushing cache, logging in, opening
the calendar module and then going straight to the task module without doing
anything to the calendar (just looking at it) editing dates of tasks within the
task module using the calendar drop down widget is not possible.

Only a few users of my installation have encountered this problem.
Primarily they have many events scheduled.

I re-downloaded the source, re-setup everything, but still happening the same. (Unfortunately only at certain weeks).

Example file is attached:
I attached an ical file of a relevant week. Anyone can import it to a test user, then go to the calendar module, weekly view, navigate to the week
from the 7th dec to 13th dec 2009 (monday to sunday week settings).
After that try to get a calendar widget dropping down (by clicking on any calendar icon either within the calendar module or within
the tasks module or anywhere else where you could find a drop down calendar widget).
Any suggestions are very welcome.

Thanks for any help.
