In the document section, in the revisions of the documents maybe there could be something for the scenario:
1. Upload a document (Revision-1)
2. After 2 weeks make some improvements in the document, so now I have Revision-2.
I have to upload the Revision-2 document to the system, but I dont want to delete the other Revision-1 document......
Secondly....
I believe that there could be a flag and maybe a user define number field to show which document is incoming or outgoing.
There could be also a field that shows how the document comes in or goes out (mail, fax, e-mail, etc)....
I believe that the system is the best already!
