SOLVED : display problem in dashboard (1.6 beta / rc / final)
« on: November 30, 2009, 07:21:48 am »
Hi,

since yesterday evening (1.6b2), I'm experiencing a display problem as the dashboard is reduced to a thin space between the context area and the tabs bar ...

I upgraded to 1.6rc to try to correct it but without positive results

I dont get error messages in Firefox, nor Opera but IE8 give me this alert :

Message : Cet objet ne gère pas cette propriété ou cette méthode
Ligne : 444
Caractère : 247494
Code : 0
URI : http://www.<myopengoo>/public/assets/javascript/ogmin.js

As you may see in the image, the context bar won't accept to be reduced and therefore appear to be floating.

Thanks for your replies as this is not usable anymore.

Cédric

Can you try changing the language of your installation?

I'm not able to access the admin area as it appears like the dashboard in the above picture.

Try unzipping the latest version again in your web server.

You can change the language in the login screen, by clicking "Options".

re-uploaded without changes.

Is there a way to reset my admin options or configuration without data loss ?

I still have the problem in 1.6 final. Therefore my users dont have the same display problem and I suspect a configuration setting to be faulty.

Is there a way to reset my specific configuration (display options) to the default one without GUI access ?

I have this problem with opera and FF but not with chrome ...

definitely solved I guess by switching off the admin option to remember the state of the GUI at the end of each session.

Great, I was going to send you a file to do that. I will add an option for next release to reset the user interface without disabling the option.

Thanks.
