Tag permissions
« on: October 17, 2009, 03:51:10 pm »
hi folks,

I was very happy with 1.5.1 because tag permissions were implemented.  This is a killer property for me.

But as far as I understand from the changelog, tag permissiona are rollbacked in 1.5.2, is it correct?  Does it mean that 1.5.3 has no implemented tag permissions code?

Regards
Murat

For those who does not know the tag permissions, it is this:  It is possible to tag documents as all know.  However, the tag window on the left bottom corner shows every tags in the system without checking the permissions.  So your customer has access to your tag names of your internal documents.  This was corrected in 1.5.1 by implementing a tag permission code.

it`s so upsetting that it wasn`t fixed in 1.6... This was #1in my wishlist and too obvious to check the roadmap.

Besides fixing that, I think it would be nice if
the tag window showed only those tags, which exist in currently selected workspace.

Another tags bug

Tags from archived workspaces are displayed and counted in tag box.
I guess it shouldn`t be so, since it confuses: when the tag is obsolete, selecting it is useless.

I suggest moving this topic to bugs.
