Getting open goo to work on other ports
« on: October 21, 2008, 09:17:44 pm »
If this is not an opengoo related question, I apologize, but I'm still new to running my own server.

So, I'm trying to get my server to connect to the outside world.  But it seems like comcast is throttling port 80.  So can any of you tell me how to get opengoo to work on a different port?

Thank you.

Hi tbol,

This is a server configuration. If you are using apache you have to locate your httpd.conf file (apache's configuration file) and change the line that reads "listen 80". On linux this config file will probably be in the /etc directory, on windows it should be under apache's installation directory.
