OpenGoo IRC Chat Room

We now have an OpenGoo IRC Chat Room (thanks Travis!) which you can use to chat in real time with other OpenGoo users.

The chat room is hosted on the WildIRC IRC Network (www.wildirc.net).

You may connect using any chat client such as mIRC, X-Chat, Pidgin, etc.

To connect to WildIRC use: irc.wildirc.net
Then join the channel: #OpenGoo

Alternatively you can use the Java applet at http://opengoochat.wildirc.net
Once connected you can change your nick by typing: /nick yournewnick

One brief note on usage of this resource. IRC can be - but isn't necessarily - a real-time communication medium.  That means, when you arrive in the channel and ask a question, do not expect an answer immediately. As your question, leave your IRC client running for a while, eventually someone will answer you. We have lives too you know

The OpenGoo team has been gracious by putting our AJAX Powered web client on the OpenGoo website! Simply click the Join link on the main website and then click the chat link.

You will have the option to use the embedded client or you can use the full version.
