Sub task or link a task to a parent task

Hi Everyone,

What is the difference between creating a sub task and linking a task to a parent task?

For example... I have a task = "Print 1,000 sticker for client" due 07/31/09.
To accomplish that task I need the logo from the client. So...
Do I add a subtask or parent link another task that says "Get logo from Client"?

One thing I noticed is that sub-tasks don't have due dates.

I don't think that there is a difference. And sub tasks have due dates as well - simply click "More options..." to see the due date field.
