Unauthorized Sendmail Authentication
« on: June 28, 2009, 10:28:51 pm »
A few weeks ago, I installed OpenGoo 1.3.1 and configured the beta email application within OpenGoo.  A week or so later, my site started being flooded with unauthorized sendmail activity (queue filling up and thousands of bounced emails). My host and I have tried to locate the source and seems OpenGoo could be the hole.  Is anyone aware of such vulnerability? :-\

I was hoping for some feedback from anyone with such an experience.

My host is still investigating the unauthorized sendmail abuse (or rather attack) which is still under way. I will let you know if we determine the OpenGoo was the culprit.
