Hello

Some queries from a newbie that just ended a month long search for the
'just right'  collaboration solution :

1. is the spreadsheet gone ?
2. how to remove unused tag ?
3. is there a manual/help/FAQ ?
4. I need to doublecheck but seems the date shown on Overview/Calendar is not same as system date. Sep.5 become Nov5 in Overview/Calendar.
5. Somewhere mentioned a workspace template function but I cannot locate that.
6. would there be a backup function in upcoming release ?
7. what's pro and con of using filesystem versus SQL for data storage ?
8. No attachment in Message, would that be coming up ?

Thanks for a great experience!

Rgds

One by one:
1.- Spreadsheets are hidden now, and will be back and more powerful soon
2.- Unused tags should be removed from the interface automatically after they are removed from all items and the interface is refreshed (i.e. F5 ). This will be improved shortly
3.- Sorry, but not yet. If anybody is willing to help, it would be great.
4.- We'll look at it, but I think the issue has been solved and will be available on next release
5.- It is not available yet, task templates are the only ones.
6.- Could be, how would you like it to work?
7.- This is a complete topic by itself (try searching for "filesystem vs db storage"). Very simplified: filesystem is faster, db has other advantages.
8.- We use linked objects instead of attachments. The mechanism is: Upload a file, write a message and after that you can link the message to the file. In general you can link any object with another.

Hello,
I've found the OpenGoo today and for me the email attachments are very important, because when you send an email with docs the person that receive the email usually want to have the attachment offline without download it.

Are you going to include the possibility of attach docs or just link them?

Tks in advance. KR.
David.

Thanks Macro for explaining. About backup would like simple
one button scheme whereby the relevant data are backup to
local path or user can specify a FTP location.

Mail Attachments will be available soon. The first step will be the possiblity to attach documents that are already on the system.
We expect it for October.
