FengOffice 3 very slow compared to 1.7
« on: April 16, 2015, 10:27:34 am »
Hi,

After upgrading to 3.1.3, I noticed that Feng Office is very very slow and almost unusable for us (we have about 12.000 tasks).

When watching at MySQL log, to display tasks in a specific workspace (whci contains many other workspaces and a lot of tasks), here is the number of requests I have:

1.7.5 : 750 queries (mostly of the type Query   SELECT * FROM `og_workspace_objects` WHERE `object_manager` = 'ProjectTasks' AND `object_id` = 8600)

3.1.3 : 5400 queries (mostly complex requests whith joins)

You will find logs in attachment.

Regards,

Fred

Hi Fred!

That is pretty odd, so I would like to ask you the following:
What Operating System are you using for your server?
What is your server HW?
Did you tune up the LAMP settings as suggested in our Wiki?
When you mean slow, how many seconds aprox are we talking about and to display how many tasks?

Best regards,
Francisco
Would you like to install Feng Office Professional or Enterprise Edition in your servers? No problem! Read this article!
