Custom Properties only in selected Workspace

Is it possibly to create custom properties for an object type which is only show's in the selected workspace(s)?

Today custom properties for an objects typ are shown in all workspaces.

As far as I know the answer is no - custom properties belong to objects and are not related to workspaces.

Agreed, and I'm starting to think that a lot of these global items like custom properties, tags, etc would be better served if they could be assigned to individual workspaces, just like user permissions are.

I've personally wished for this for a very long time. Will be done someday. If it hasn't yet, it's just because of not enough people coding to have gotten there faster.
