Have you seen the changes implemented into the 2.7.1 version onwards in the contact edition form?
Concerning the constraints of not having the possibility to have the same email address for different people, that is not so normal.. truth be told so far none of our clients complained about this.
If it is a shared address like support@somewhere.com they just add it as "Support at Somewhere"
If it is john@somewhere.com.. it is John from Somewhere.. not Jane.
Then, one of the problems (among others) I see about having the same email address for different contacts is that lets say you have marketing@somewhere.com and this is for Mike and also for Susanne. Ok, so, when you decide to give them access to the system.. who will be accessing it? Mike? Or Susanne? Hard to tell if they have the same email address right?
