subtasks not visible in list view

I have added subtasks to several tasks. But in some cases the subtasks are not shown in the tasks list view and there is no "plus" before the row to expand all subtasks. If I open the superior task for editing, the subtasks are visible in the subtasks form field, they are "processible" and not different from other subtasks. Is there a config option on task level? Is this a bug?

It only occurs with mozilla firefox for windows and android. All other tested browser are working "correctly".

It seems, that firefox (actual I'm using 32.0.10) has got a problem with XML / JSON since version 28.0?! The response is fully received, but if there are too much elements on deeper layers (subtask of subtask), not all elements are rendered.
