Module Permissions Problem
« on: March 25, 2014, 08:50:19 pm »
Hello everyone,
I'm new with the Feng Office but it really looks cool.
I have encountered a strange problem when i was creating a new user with my admin account. Whatever Role i choose or select the modules manually, "Module  Permissions" are always set to empty. When new user logs in, there is no module at the dashboard.
Also it says "Module Permission Uncheck Warning" on below of permission box.

What should i do?

Same issue here with me.
Feng 2.5.1.2. Set up 2 users as superadmins with 2.5 OK but now new users have no Module Rights.
Anybody else so we can open a bug in the mantis list?
Anyway: Created Bug Report in Feng Mantis 0004116

One should read before write :-)
Same point here http://forum.fengoffice.com/index.php?topic=19185.0
We have to wait for 2.6
Or implement Fix: http://forum.fengoffice.com/index.php?topic=19185.msg37435#msg37435
in /application/helpers/permissions.php.

Glad to know it was solved for you guys!
The latest 2.5.1.4 also solves this issue, no matter which server settings you have (which was the source of the problem)

Best regards,
Francisco

Testing out 2.5.1.4 and unfortunately it is having the same problem. Installed 2.6 and evidently it is happening there as well. Would the same fix apply to these version as well? or a different variation?

Hi Adam,

This issue is related to server settings as in ours we did not get to experience any problem, unless we are missing something in between, in which case you can give it a go to our demo and let us know if you experience it there too: demo.fengoffice.com
Did you try with the latest 2.6.1 version?

Best regards,
Francisco
