Convert Contacts to Users?

Is there a way to convert a contact into a user (or the other way round)? I realize that the data structure is quite different, but it would be a nice feature.

It's kind of confusing anyway to have these two types of persons. Why not merge these two and simply add a flag "can login" to distinguish contacts from users?

On version 0.9 you have an action to create a user from a contact, and the other way round. It is in the action panel, while viewing the contact or user card.

Good observation. This can still be vastly improved. Let us know how it is looking in 0.9 and your thoughts on making it better.
