We would love to see an API so it's easier to integrate with OpenGoo

It's will be very good if there's a way to integrate OpenGoo with Drupal. For example, if a OpenGoo user logged in , they should be able to create or edit the contents in Drupal too. It's not necessary for a user to log in twice into one domain just because of the different apps.

I hope there will be some sort of api for this problem.

What we need is an effort on this scale (which is for Joomla, but same concept): jfusion

We want to have an api too. It doesn't show clearly, but with every new version we take steps towards it. The architecture and data schema of opengoo has varied a lot on every version. Version 1.6 will also move things internally quite a bit. So it may be some time till we can publish an extensive api that will be stable enough.

Easy integration with Drupal would be very cool.

JFusion looks interesting.

Thanks for all the good ideas!

We have created an integration with other CMS systems and can offer this for a fee.

Unfortunately, we can't provide the code in Open Source for this as it would reduce the integrity of our login script to ensure hacking doesn't occur.

You may see our integration of Feng Office here: themov.org/projects

We have integrated it with ResourceSpace, Moodle, PHPIzabi, and SocialEngine to name a few.
