2.3.2.1 After import from CSV losing addresses
« on: November 07, 2013, 08:44:58 pm »
Hi! I have a strange problem I was hoping someone might have encountered before. I searched extensively in the forum trying to find someone else with the problem, but didn't come across anything, so here goes:

When running on my localhost it doesn't do this.

But when on the company's internal server, after importing contacts from a CSV file, when I edit the contact and save (doesn't matter if I actually do anything to it), the address fields all go blank. No error messages, nothing in cache/log.php. I'm stumped.

Does it in Chrome & Firefox, latest versions. Locally I'm running AMPPS and this is the server info it gives me:
Apache/2.2.25 (Unix) mod_wsgi/3.4 Python/2.7.2 mod_ssl/2.2.25 OpenSSL/0.9.8y PHP/5.3.27
Database client version: libmysql - 5.6.13
PHP extension: mysqli

And here is the server info on the company's internal server:
PHP 5.4.21 (cli) (built: Oct 20 2013 15:27:58) ysql  Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.5.34, for FreeBSD9.2 (amd64) using  5.2
3:47 s/ysql/mysql
3:47 PHP 5.4.21 (cli) (built: Oct 20 2013 15:27:58)
mysql  Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.5.34, for FreeBSD9.2 (amd64) using  5.2

Any help would be appreciated.

Update: this isn't just after CSV import, this is any time I open an existing person and save it again. It'll save the address just fine when I create them, but when I edit them and save again, that's when all the address information disappears. Not sure if this helps.

Also, I'm admin on my localhost, obviously, but I'm a user with admin privileges on the company version - I tested it as a user with admin privileges on my localhost, but I can't replicate the issue. This makes me think it's a php or sql version issue perhaps. Any thoughts?
