"Due Today"? I don't think so.
« on: May 07, 2009, 01:08:40 am »
I'm a new user.
My Dashboard says that one of my tasks is "due today", even though it really is due tomorrow.
The dates are right in the system. It says that today is May 6th, and it says that the task is due on May 7th. Yet, it shows a little text next to it that says "Due Today".

Even more surprising, that same task also appears under "late milestones and tasks".

Is there something I don't understand about due dates?
Or is that a known bug?

As far as I can tell, the time set is not local time, for some reason.

Sitting in DK, I can see that the hours are wrong by two hours.

I'm guessing that this is the problem.

I don't think that would be the reason.
My time, it's true, is wrong by 1 HOUR.
But that's not enough to be off by an entire day.

Another example.
My "overview" today shows 2 tasks that are "1 days late", and 1 item "due today".
Meanwhile, those 2 are due today, and one is due today.

The funny thing is what when you click on it and look at the details, everything looks right.
It says I created the task on May 10 (today, which is true), and that it is due on the 11th (tomorrow).

On the "tasks" tab, everything looks fine too.
If I "group by due date", it shows the correct due date (today, tomorrow ..)

It seems it's only the home page that has a problem

It must be a bug. That 1 hour difference can turn May 11th 2009 00:00 into May 10th 2009 23:00, and so OpenGoo thinks the task is due on May 10 (in the dashboard, because of the bug).

Hi everybody,
since this here is the third post regarding this time-problem, I guess it is really a bug which still isn´t solved. I can´t find an option to specify my timezone to whatever I want, but only to choose wether the time zone is recognized automaticly or not. The dateformat in my user preferences and in the standard user preferences is 'd.m.Y' (german)

If I were a PHP-Guru... Can anyone please take care of this problem? Help is strongly appreciated.
Best Regards,
