Session expiry bug
« on: April 26, 2009, 06:41:10 pm »
Although this is for v1.3.1, I'm guessing it also applies to 1.4beta, since I didn't read that it was addressed.

Normally after a certain period of inactivity, OG logs the user out and presents a log in box (see attached pic).

However, I've noticed that it only logs the user out if they are in the following modules:

tasks
weblinks
contacts
email
notes

And it does not log me out while in the following modules:

overview
documents
Time
Reporting
calendar

Tested in FF 3.0.9

cheers

Also, sometimes if I alt-tab over to some other window, then come back to firefox within even a few seconds, it logs me out.

This happens if you login to another installation on the same domain. This will log you out of other installations. This is an issue with cookies. We tried to fix it for 1.3 but it caused other problems to some people, so we will try again for version 1.5 with a different approach.

Thanks.
