Contact vs Company

Contacts can be created and do not have to be assigned to a workspace.   Company record must be assigned to a workspace.  If it's assigned to a certain workspace another user does not have access to, or if it's assigned to no workspaces, it does not appear, even though the Contact is linked to it and is viewable.

Is this expected?  Should a company recored not behave exactly the same as a person contact record?

Companies with no workspace should be visible. This is a bug that has been reported and we will try to fix for the final version.
