Help with plugins
« on: April 09, 2012, 06:08:03 pm »
I've installed the community edition on my machine to have a play, and it appears to be working, but I haven't bee able to get the htmldoc or new window plugins to work.  I unzipped each of them into /var/www/fengoffice, but as far as I can tell this has had no effect.

How can I troubleshoot this? Does fengoffice provide an error log, or a mechanism to determine which plugins are present?

Thanks,
Mike

I'm guessing here:

1. you downloaded and installed the latest Feng Office, 2.0.x, and
2. you tried to install plugins that are compatible with Feng Office 1.7.5 and earlier.

Hint: The downloadable files have a 2009 date-stamp.  The plugin mechanism was completely overhauled for FengOffice 2.x, released in 2012.  So I assume that they are no longer compatible.

I followed the document and got the plugin installed and activated, but the tab although is listed is not showing up.

Do we need to intervene on the language ??

Any suggestion?

Also, the documentation mentions a GUI that's nowhere.
Let's get things straight, please.

Have you been able to solve the issue?

No language intervention should be needed.

What GUI are you referring to? Could you share a screenshot?

Also, try to en messages on a kinder note, please.
