First i must mention how impressed i am with FO as a whole package. I love the inter-linkability of data and the general layout of the application.
However, I am a techy in the legal invironment with clients that have existing data. This is where I feel FO falls short.
The document management system is a bit of a nightmare from a migration perspective for the following reseans:
1. it does not support folder structure
2. importing existing data flattens the directory tree
3. its file repository is not human readable
4. online editing is not possible for MS type documents
As such, I want to replace the document system in FO with NuxeoDM.
Would anyone else be interested in brainstorming this?
PS, i have never developed for either or
