Create task from, automatically linked to, object

How hard would it be to add a "Create Task" button while viewing any object, particularly Company, Contact, Event, etc. and automatically have it linked to the object?

To do this for FO 1.7.5 - I would think it's not so obvious (at least not for me it isn't)

I'm holding off on major tweakings until the FO folks push FO2 out of beta. it sounds like it *should* be a little easier in FO2 than 1.7.5

Actually it should not be THAT hard, but its not in our current Road Map.
