Minor time rounding or display bug
« on: April 17, 2009, 02:41:49 am »
This was a total fluke that I discovered this, because I was actually testing something else.  I created a general timeslot test item and for the hours I put 2.0003.  After I clicked Add, the display showed it as 2.000277777777778.

This isn't something that concerns me with that level of decimal places, however I thought I'd mention it anyway, just in case there is some significance to someone else.

Wow,, thanks for the notification, we hadn't noticed that. I believe it is because of the conversion happening after the timeslot is added, as the decimal number is actually converted to H:m:s in the background.

We could perhaps round the display to a certain number of decimal places, say 3 for example.
