Hi

I try install OpenGoo Beta 0.8 and in the Step 2 appears error in gd extension:

Step 2: Environment checks

* OK: PHP version is 5.2.4-2ubuntu5.3
* OK: 'mysql' extension is loaded
* Error: 'gd' extension is not loaded
* OK: 'simplexml' extension is loaded
* OK: /config/config.php is writable
* OK: /public/files is writable
* OK: /cache is writable
* OK: /upload is writable
* OK: /tmp is writable

i read in many pages about gd php and in new version gd is enable by default and i cant install OpenGoo

Someone can help me

It's very easy, you need install php5-gd library, if you're using debian try with aptitude install php5-gd

No es un problema grave, sólo te falta instalar la librería gd para php5, si usas debian un aptitude install ph5-gd es suficiente; por cierto, ¿qué distro de linux usas?

Hola gracias por responder yo uso Centos 5.4 hice la instalación de gb pero sigue sin funcionar, talvez sabes de donde puedo descargarme el repositorio para volverlo a instalar, porq quizá el que descargue no sea el adecuado por eso sigue sin funcionar.

Hola, no uso centos, pero haciendo:

yum install php-gd

debería ser suficiente.

Estuve leyendo y vi un post bastante buen sobre php5-gd en centos, puedes revisarlo en mattiasgeniar.be/2008/09/17/install-gd-library-for-php5-on-centos/

Gracias amigo te cuento que he hecho eso también antes de consultar en este foro y nada sigue sin funcionar el error continua saliendo además cuando ejecuto yum install php-gd me sale que no hay ningún paquete disponible.

Gracias por tu ayuda si tienes otra solución te agradezco si en caso lo consigo la publicaré también.
