[SOLVED] Blank page on Overview tab

Hi,

I use fengoffice 1.7.2.
I have a shared workspace, and shown a blank page on its Overview tab.

It only displays "Upcoming events, milestones and tasks" bar.

Is that any configuration that I missed?

Hello.

You need to go to Administration>Configuration>Default user preferences>Dashboard options..

Everything (excecpt "Always show unread email in dashboard:") are already set to Yes.
Overview page is still blank.

I wonder what do you mean by a blank page, may be a screenshot would be helpful.
Anyway, are you sure your permissions and.htaccess settings are correct?

Blank page means only "Upcoming events, milestones and tasks" bar shown, without calendar, activity, notes, latest comments, and other default widgets on Overview tab.

I send the "blank" page and normal Overview page.

On .htaccess only contains "AddDefaultCharset utf-8".

Any chance that the "Upcoming events, milestones and tasks" bar is minimized and you have to click on it? Have you checked your logs?

Maximize & minimize doesn't affect.

But, the log might be help:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_strlen() in /var/www/html/fengoffice/application/views/dashboard/widget_calendar.php on line 237

This message is only shown on blank "Overview" page.

The problem is solved after I install php-mbstring:

# yum install php-mbstring

on CentOS release 5.5 (Final)

Hi Franc,

I think it will be better if php-mbstring is a required module, and add this on system requirements section.
