1.3-beta / Re: Email feature not working
« on: February 27, 2009, 06:05:48 pm »
Did you copy your language files over? I am using en_nz (exactly the same as en_us, but different date formats) and get this if I forget to copy the languages/en_nz* files to the new version.

Although that usually affects everything - not just mail.

Maybe I upgraded in the wrong order or something. I did go from 1.2 rcx to 1.3 beta and had the same error - so did them step by step.

Weird it was just the one table - but no one else seems to have had the problem.

Anyway - keep up the good work :-)

1.3-beta / Overview
« on: February 26, 2009, 06:41:57 pm »
On the overview page, editing the description options has no effect. The Description textarea text is not displayed, and selecting 'No' for Display on Workspace has no effect.

On the Overview page, Display as list, it is impossible to open emails that have no 'Subject' line. (I just recieved it - I did not send it). They can be opened by going to email and clicking on the sender.

I meant I hope the column should not be populated by the script.

So far everything seems good.

Hi - upgraded from 1.2 rc2 - -> 1.2.1 -> 1.3 beta.

I did a quick test of the intermediate steps, and they seemed okay.

With version 1.3 beta I am getting the following error in the mail module:

Query failed with message 'Unknown column 'content_file_id' in 'field list''

 SELECT `id`, `account_id`, `uid`, `from`, `from_name`, `to`, `date`, `sent_date`, `subject`, `content`, `body_plain`, `body_html`, `has_attachments`, `size`, `state`, `is_deleted`, `is_shared`, `is_private`, `created_on`, `created_by_id`, `trashed_on`, `trashed_by_id`, `imap_folder_name`, `account_email`, `content_file_id` FROM `og_mail_contents` WHERE `id` = '173'

I have had a look at the file db_migration/chinchulin.php and all the other columns to be added seem to have been added.

I thought chinchulin.php was the latest - seem to be a later file. Lovely names - but not helpful. I mean I can't even remember if I am on Gutsy or Heron (Kubuntu 8.10).

Anyway - I will try to add the table and hope it does not get populated with anything :-)

ALTER TABLE `<?php echo $table_prefix ?>mail_contents` ADD COLUMN `content_file_id` VARCHAR(40) NOT NULL default '';

Announcements / Re: OpenGoo 1.3-beta is out!

I must be a bit slow - I am on 1.2RC2, went to get 1.2, and found 1.3 beta :-)

The link on the OpenGoo home page says 1.2, but points to the latest beta. I will install it - but might not be for people who value stability :-)

(So far i have not had any problems with the betas and RC's)

Also - I need to down load 1.2 and 1.2.1 so I have the complete set of 1.x releases :-)

Chimreap sua

Interested to see opengoo being translated into Khmer :-)

I spent four years there working in a library - did not learn enough Khmer to be much help - but can give moral support :-)

Are you in Cambodia? I am still on a number of mailing lists - open learning and PP Linux User Group and so forth.

Anyway - good luck with it :-)

Thanks. I *did* search for 'enable spreadsheet' but did not find that :-(

I'll give it a try.

Spreadsheets can be enabled by following these instructions

Hi - I'd like to try the spreadsheets - which instructions are you referring to?

That worked fine - thanks.

How To's / Re: Default Country and Timezone

In most cases, when I add a contact or company, they are in the same country and time zone as me. Many are in the same city as me - but the browser remembers those :-)

What could be cool is an input field that has a drop down selection of previously entered options to choose from. New entries would have to be checked against the country list ...

With the time zones - well - the option exists, so I have been adding it. Populating the timezone field and or contry/state combination would be nice :-)

I am beginning to wonder if I reinstall. There are a couple of things that are not quite right. I installed 1.1b, then upgraded to the 1.1 release. Is that likely to be causing problems?

I had a look there - and have looked again. That option does not seem to be available.

Feng Office 1 / Timezones inaccurate
« on: January 12, 2009, 07:06:28 am »
Hi - setting the timezone for a country is a bit erratic. Any time zone over GMT +9 gets set to GMT -12.

In the database, the timezone gets set to 9 for GMT +9, and 9.9 for GMT +12 (or/and GMT -12 - which is how it is displayed)

Is there a way to set a default for the Country and Timezone for new entries?
