Feature requests / Some features of ClockingIT
« on: December 26, 2008, 02:04:18 pm »
I would like some of the nice features of ClockingIT.

Here you can see more:
http://www.clockingit.com/ and
http://www.workshop.ch/openmind/2008/09/26/clockingit-projekt-management-tool-nicht-nur-fr-it-projekte/ (sorry, no english)

Some examples:
- more functionality for project management
- time tracking / time sheets
- gantt chart
- etc.

(Sorry about my lack of english)

During installation Step 2 I get this error message: "Error: /config/config.php is not writable".

But there is no file /config/config.php. There is only a file /config/empty.config.php. If I make this file writable it does not help.

If I create an empty file /config/config.php and make this writable then I get the error message "Installation error: OpenGoo is already installed".

I don't find any way to proceed with the installation.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Problem solved:

The error message: "Error: /config/config.php is not writable" is just wrong (misleading). Not the file /config/config.php but the folder /config must be writable.

How would you compare OpenGoo to ProjectPier / activeCollab?

My main focus is on project management and time tracking.

General Discussion / OpenGoo vs. Streber PM
« on: December 24, 2008, 11:13:57 pm »
For weeks now I'm searching for a good collaboration and project management software. I was using PHProjekt but it is very ugly and messy.

Yesterday I found Streber PM (http://www.streber-pm.org/) and I liked it very much so I decided to use it.

But today accidentally I found OpenGoo and I love it. It's such a great piece of software and the GUI is just wonderful and the community is great.

Some of the features of Streber I'm missing in OpenGoo. Did anybody here make a comparision of these two great solutions?
