is it not enough to just have php and mysql support on you server?
maybe you just install apache and mysql and give it a try?

Ideas / "more" menu in documents section
« on: November 25, 2008, 05:13:46 am »
in the documents section there is a menu called "more" which contains 3 points (download, properties and slideshow)
wouldn't it be better to add them to the normal menu bar instead of an extra menu?
i use the "properties" and "download" function very often, and it woul db emuch better if they were directly available instead via this extra menu  :)

Feng Office 1 / search does not find everything...
« on: November 25, 2008, 02:42:20 am »
hey there,

i just recognized that the search somehow does not find everything it should.
i have lot's of weblinks stored  which link to lifehacker.com (great page btw XD ).
but the opengoo search only finds 2 of that links o_0

when i have a look at the database i found the table "searchable objects".
and yeah, it only contains %lifehacker% 2 times, but as you can see the table with the weblinks has mor eentries with thats words in it:

7 match(es) inside table og_project_webpages    Browse    Delete
0 match(es) inside table og_projects
0 match(es) inside table og_read_objects
2 match(es) inside table og_searchable_objects    Browse    Delete

what i also saw when browsing the searchable objects table is that:

- there are lots of empy entries like:
     Edit      Delete      ProjectEvents     3     tags           1     0     0
can i delete them? where are they from?

- there are entries of files which could not be uploaded, but this db entry was already written..

could someone please fix that? XD

Why is the loop spliting the path into pieces and then starts trying all this pieces? is the upload folder not always in "/opengoo_install_dir/upload" ? Why not start just below that?

that's exactly what i thin, too ...

no, ssl is especially an issue for logging in you email account (and you have to login when sending AND receiving :P
but th ebest case is when even the transmission is encrypted.

mhhm.. what will opengoo support?^^

« on: November 22, 2008, 02:29:50 pm »
At the moment the loop reaches the part of the path which is writable for me it works, so when I add a

&& strstr($forced_path, "/is/htdocs/my_customer_number/www" in line 240

it works fine and I can add any file I want.

i am sorry but line 240 is:            } // if
at least when i look into my files.
can ypu please post the file you modified and how it should look like after the modification?

tanks!
