Feng Office 3 / Re: Can not send emails
« on: February 03, 2016, 03:37:54 pm »
Feng office is on one server o2switch, and the mailserver that causes problems for sending is on another from ovh
(I have others mail accounts, on the same server as Feng office, which have no problem!)

It seems to me that the issue is the mailserver is not allowing connections from the FO on a different server.  Make sure you are using full authentication (sometimes you can bypass that on the same server), and that the mail ports are open (25) between the two machines.

This does not appear to be an issue with Feng Office, but your network configurations between the two machines.

Typically there is only an upgrade button if Feng finds a new version.  However, I don't know how this gets triggered....  maybe there is a version number file that compares with version installed somewhere?  I'd have to look more in depth.

All of the native plugins are already at their latest version, it seems.

By the way - i'm interested in your android app....

Are you trying to send emails via php or smtp?

It should be via smtp.  What I would do is review the mail logs after you send a test email to see what the error is.  If there is no error, then it's not even hitting the mail server, and we need to work backwards.

Is the mailserver on the same account as the one that is working, by chance?

Are both versions on the same server?  Sounds like a configuration problem as emails work fine in 3.4.0.7 on our production server.

Just go into settings, then plugins, and then you can update plugins there.  It's all web based, and it works well.

You sure can - you should see an "Archive" button at the bottom of workspaces.  If you press this, it will show items that are archived, and you can select them to unarchive.

How To's / Re: adding a custom table

Have you already added the table to mysql?  Or, is that your question - how to add a table to mysql?

Feng Office 3 / Re: Error Upgrading to 3.2.3

Is there a way, after a clean install 3.2.3, import data base from 3.2.1? I mean mysql database and "upload" folder.

Sure - just copy your upload folder over, and then copy the old database to the new one (but leave the new schema in place).

Installation problems / Re: No panels after upgrade from 2.4 to 3.21

I dont have acces to console to update plugins

This doesn't bode well, unfortunately as you may have to make some adjustments to your php or config settings based on your server specs.    I would  suggest at the very least a VPS - we use a VPS with 8GB or RAM, and 8 core processors and FO is pretty snappy with several simultaneous users.

What specifically are you looking for?  FO is more project management than a document management system.

Hmm - didn't notice!  :)  Very strange!  Thanks for the correction.

Why those versions just disappear from sourceforge?

And version 3.1.5.1 too. That's my version. Hummm... this is not good.

The latest version now is 3.1.3 from 08 April 2015.

They are all there.  http://sourceforge.net/projects/opengoo/files/fengoffice/

FO is not built for a shared hosting environment, although I have had some success on some shared hosts with poor performance.  Are yOu using the Fatcow shared, VPS or dedicated plan?

Feng Office 3 / Re: Google calendar
« on: June 27, 2015, 09:05:25 am »
What I think happened is that in 3.1.5.3, the calendar sync code was updated to the api V3.  However, there is a fundamental issue in that is hard coded to fengoffice.com, so it looks like it will work on their site...

I'll try to search out what file this is in to see if we can alter the code to allow it to redirect to the correct site name.
