would you please provide me with the name and location of the file I need to edit as I don't know where to look for this. Also, is it possible to change the default 5 items listing to 20?

How To's / how to create report on comments response to Notes

Dear Administrator,

is there a way in the feng office to produce a report about how quickly a particular user responded to all notes/comments of the notes in a particular workspace (or several workspaces) for the past month or so. Does the report module offer such possebilities, and if yes, how?

Dear Administrator,

is there a way to change default settings for the overview module page, so that by default up to 20 latest updated notes are displayed there? Before going to the actual Notes module to see them all.

Actually,

a simpler solution can also be achieved by incorporating a simple check box besides the comments header (date/time/user) and allow the user to place a check mark in it indicating to himself that this comment was seen. When exiting the note by clicking on 'Close' the changes in the check marks would be saved in a database/file.

Is there any chance for this particular function to be incorporated in the next Feng Office release, please?

Feature requests / Improving/Expanding the 'Comments' function

Dear Administrator,

as so many comments are posted by variety of users (i.e. on a note), it becomes increasingly difficult to determine, which comments a user has already seen and read and which are new for that particular user.

Would it be possible for new comments to appear in BOLD by default, and by clicking on them, they would change to standard non-bold font.

Or to have a some different mechanism in place, such as a "light bulb", a radial button, or a check box besides it, or something else that a user can click on to indicate that a posted comment was already read.

enhanced categorization is always a good tool for better organization. It would be a good addition to the Feng Office. I agree.

I have requested something similar in the recent past from the administrators specifically the idea of have the 'inverse' listing of comments, however, the administrators have stated that this feature is not in their plan of development. They suggested to finance the project and they'll do it. To finance this specific project, as I was informed by the Feng Office officials through an email is around $1,200.

Fort the sake of staying organized, I highly suggest creating groups in the administrative panel, assigning workspaces and permission rights to each group accordingly, and then assign users to individual groups.

This will help you out in the long run. We are a small magazine corporation and we have been using the feng office for over a year now. It is a really good collaboration tool.

I am following what you are saying, but the question actually was,

if there is a way to allow a user to write comments and post new messages in one particular workspace while not allowing him (the same user) to delete comments and messages left in the same workspace by other users.
