Definitions / Wording: Dashboard vs. Overview

What do you get when you click on the Overview tab? The Dashboard! Of course a dashboard gives you an overview, but from a usability point of view I'd prefer to rename the Overview tab to Dashboard. What do you think?

Feng Office 1 / Time tracking: Error 500 and lang.js Error

RC1: When I try to start the time tracking for a task from the task list, I get two errors:

Error 500: Internal Server Error
Missing lang.js: error tagging tasks

With debugging on I get:

Fatal error: Call to a member function manager() on a non-object in /home/demoserv/public_html/opengoo/application/models/application_logs/ApplicationLogs.class.php on line 41

Feature requests / Ordering tasks ascending / descending

In RC1 you can order tasks by certain aspects, but you can't choose the direction of the sorting. A "Ascending / Descending" switch would be nice.

Feng Office 1 / Calendar: View all - Error 500

Selecting "View all" in the View menu of the calendar generates an Error 500. OpenGoo 1.0 RC1.

How To's / Unclassified emails?

What exactly are "Unclassified emails"? There is a filtering option in the e-mail module, but I can't see a difference between filtering unread mails and filtering unclassified mails.

In the e-mails module there is a button "Unread" near the mailbox selector (Inbox/Sent/Draft). On the other hand you have the "View" menu that lets you select unread mails. This is confusing - I strongly suggest to remove the button.

As a general rule, new objects seem to be assigned to the currently selected workspace by default. That's a good idea.

If you create new notes, new documents or new presentations and look at the workspace seetings right away, none is selected by default. Only after saving the object the workspace is set. Not a big problem, but can be misleading.

Can anyone explain the menu "View" in the toolbar of the Calender module? It seems to do some filtering, but what are the exact rules?

How To's / Will you participate?

It looks like only the user that creates an event gets the option to answer the question "Will you participate?". That doesn't make sense to me, and I can't see the effect of answering the question. Can anbody help me to understand this feature?

In the detail view, right column, "Propierties":

Tags are shown directly below workspaces. A subtitle "Tags" would be nice.

In the detail view of contacts there is no possibility to add tags. (You have to go back to the list view.) Not a big problem, but doesn't make much sense.

How To's / Additional note text

Can anybody explain what the "Additional text" in a note is? (It says: "Additional note text is visible only on comments page", but I don't get it. If I turn the comments off for a certain note, I can still see the additional text.

Whenever I try to view the history (of a note, of a document) I get a server error 500. OpenGoo 1.0 RC1.

Feng Office 1 / Problem using task templates

I can't use task templates in 1.0 RC1. I always get an error message about missing permissions if I want to create a new task from a template, but the template is allocated to ALL workspaces.

Is it me - or is it OpenGoo?
