Nop, no results yet. didn't have time to look into it to be frank.
Hopefully someone from Feng is looking into it?

any file with text, nothing special, and we've tried with several computers and files.
so like I said: first time works fine, but if you close and try to re-open it fails. reloading the page in the browser makes it accessible again.

I don't know where to look in the DB, but the values in the event are correct, it's only in displaying that it's incorrect.

Seems I am responding mostly to my own posts.
Anyone from Feng trying to shed some light on this?

The posts that appear on the wrong date are always initially set on Monday. I tried setting the monday/sunday as first day but that doesn't solve the problem

Also Chrome on Mac? Or Chrome on windows ?
And which version of Chrome ?

36
This is Chrome 5.0.307.7 beta on the Mac by the way. FF 3 and Safari 4 are without this bug

37
Same here, and I wasn't aware it was Google Chrome only.
I tried downgrading, but the same happens with 1.6.1.

When I reload Feng, I am able to edit the file once. After saving and going back to edit this bug shows up. So a "fresh load" makes it able to edit the file.

Really annoying, because it means we can't use Chrome with Feng! And Chrome is pretty fast with Feng, so that kinda sucks.

Anyone has an idea on how to fix this?

Installation problems / Re: start over with uploads
« on: February 16, 2010, 05:34:18 am »
Hi Pet,

yeah I deleted with the select all option, but there was still ruble in the upload folder.
no it has it's own db
so basically I setup a complete new install, and copied the db from one to another, only thing buggin' me is the documents tab.
maybe I should try again, because I do remember the documents working right after the install. I wonder what else could affect this behaviour.

Now I'm trying to use uploads from scratch, but somehow it keeps writing files to the server with the wrong permissions. so a html file that is saved can't be changed later on, or is not saved at all in the first place. the files are written to disk with 644, and with a weird owner.
how can this happen? I used this same setup on the same hoster under a different domainname, but the rest is identical.

Getting Started / Re: Templates tutorial
« on: February 13, 2010, 06:03:25 pm »
We haven't used it yet, but we have done some tests with tasks.
So we will setup a milestone with tasks and subtask like we need for every project. In our case we would have a introduction period, then move on to the pre-production, production and post-production, each with default tasks.
The templating system would make it easier to copy this complete structure each time for every new project. Just go to administration area and create a new template, give it a name and add your default milestone/task structure as the object to copy (The link is called "Add an object to this template"). Within the popup you select the task you created earlier.

How To's / Speed
« on: February 13, 2010, 11:55:16 am »
Is there a way of speeding up feng office?
We are hosting at a pretty highspeed host only 5 km from our office in Amsterdam (a internet hub for Europe), but still the demo hosted at fengoffice.com (i the States I presume) is faster than ours. using chrome helps alot since it's fast with javascript, but even in firefox the demo is faster.
anything I can do locally?
or is it mainly that the demo is still empty and our system starts to fill up?

Cheers

I'm having the same problem as my colleague when adding an event:
adding a repeating event on monday and it shows the appointment on tuesday. correct time and nicely repeating. In edit event it shows monday, so entry is correct.
Now some more (new) info:
in day view it doesn't show at all and in Month view they show correctly on Monday!

Now when I add a new event on the same time and day, it shows the first event correctly, and this new event on Tuesday. So it kinda pushes the first event 'in place'. BUT they both take only half the space in the agenda, like they are on the same day and need to share the space for that timeslot! The event on Tuesday ( wrong day) is half covered by an appointment that is already on Tuesday, so it doesn't behave like it should be on Tuesday (which is correct, it should be on Monday...)

In the screenshot you see IN: NG&FV which is the first event, and on tuesday 'test', bot scheduled for monday 9:30-10:30. Now when I delete 'test', IN:NG&FV moves to tuesday, takes full width and also half covered by the event of 9:00.

Hope this helps some more.

Feature requests / exceeded estimated time warning
« on: February 06, 2010, 07:04:55 am »
It would be nice to have some way to see if tasks have exceeded the estimated time worked on. I think the reporting module should be capable of it.

Selected values being estimated time vs spend time, per task or per project. Would be nice to be able to filter out tasks within budget (like it works now in the tasks tab with pending/completed/all etc). Right now there is no way to tell but going into each task and look manually....

or is there some way to accomplish this already?
