Older versions / (solved) Error Upgrading From 1.5.3 to 1.6.1 "checkTableExists()"

**Update** I ran my upgrade from the "upgrade" file on sourceforge rather than the base install package.

Hi,

When I attempt to run the upgrade script from 1.5.3 to 1.6.1 (no option to upgrade to a version before 1.6.1) I get the following error:

"...Test query has been executed. Its safe to proceed with database migration.
Fatal error: Call to undefined method ChivitoUpgradeScript::checkTableExists() in (...) /public/upgrade/scripts/ChivitoUpgradeScript.class.php on line 150"

I haven't seen any upgrade errors in the forum along that line. Please help! Thanks.

This is still a problem. And people **are** getting emailed every time I make a tiny edit to a task. I try to remember to uncheck "send email notification" every time but it's just really inconvenient. Please help! I have set the default for "receive notifications" in Administration options to "no" but that does not seem to help.

Getting Started / shortcut keys in wysiwyg?

Hi,

The normal shortcut key for strikethrough (ctrl s) brings up the "Save Page" dialog in Firefox, anyway around this? Sometimes ctrl k works but that did nothing.

Also a key for tabbing in and out numbered and unnumbered list items? Tab key doesn't work. Thanks

I love OpenGoo but really I'm puzzled why backups and auto-upgrades rely on ZIPARCHIVE when so many hosting services do *not* make that function available. Isn't tar.gz a lot more standard? Thanks.

This modyfication helps with problem but invotations didn't work now.

It's true. I can view events properly now, but event invitations are not stored in the event. I try inviting people, it says it's successful, but when I go back into the event all the invitations are unchecked. Please let us know if there's anything else we can help with to solve this bug. Thanks!

After having checked that file from the 1.3 I downloaded, there is no "static function clearByObjectAndUser" at all.

The only line where clearByObjectAndUser is mentionned is that line 1445 starting by return ObjectReminders... situated in the part starting from l.1443 "function clearReminders"

I suppose something is missing in the code.

I *did* find that code in my install on line 104, but our errors are indicating different files for our respective culprits.

Ignacio, is there anything I should check for in /application/views/event/viewevent.php  ?

Set DEBUG to true in config/config.php so that you can get a more descriptive error message.

The error reads as:

Code: [Select]

Fatal error: Call to a member function hasProjectPermission() on a non-object in /.../application/views/event/viewevent.php on line 134

Hi, I just upgraded to 1.3 stable and, after creating an event, I cannot bring up the event properties by clicking on it in the calendar. I can view properties and edit events that were created before the upgrade.

If I paste in the correct url string to edit the broken event that screen comes up successfully.

Please help!

Feature requests / Admin assign initial workspace

Hello,

It would be a big help if administrators could assign the initial workspace for other users. When I create new users I want to be able to set which workspace they see when logging in. Right now I have to create the user, set a password for them, log in as them, set initial workspace, THEN notify the user of the new account.

I have not been able to find an option to set initial workspace when editing a user's permissions, profile, etc. Thanks! -Michael
