Feng Office 2 / Backup Plugin
« on: August 08, 2013, 08:37:02 am »
The backup plugin that can be found on the internet (version 1.0 from 2009) is not working in Feng Office 2.3.1(.1). Is there a new version somewhere to be found ? Do i have the from one ?

Ideas / Mail notification
« on: August 07, 2013, 04:48:22 am »
What i like to see is a "new mail" notification to users.
I use separate mailboxes for the my users. Whenever theres a mail in 1 of the mailboxes, i'dd like FengOffice to send a notification to the user to log in and check their mail.

Whenever a mail in one of the mailboxes is not read after a few days (or hours) i (as manager) want to receive a notification so i can act

What is the function (and where is it located) that causes the record in the database (for example in fo_objects) to be created ?
I did a search in INSERT and objects however i can not find it.

When deleting a file, the corresponding record in fo_objects gets deleted. This works as expected

also in fo_objects the mail-record does not get deleted (object type 21)

just found out .. when storage is set to filesystem, the mail tables al also used. Whenever mails are deleted, the directories on the filesystem are cleared, the sql tables fo_mail_datas and fo_mail_contents are not cleared

Question : i have set Feng Office to store items in the database (MySQL)
i looked at the mail storage ... this one puzzles me.
1 mail in mij feng mailbox 1 item in the tables below. So far so good.
now i delete 1 mail in feng office and i delete the mail from the bin.
Now the tables  fo_mail_contents and  fo_mail_conversations are empty
however : table fo_mail_datas still contains 1 item .. the mail i just deleted.

Somehow the deletion process does not clean records in table fo_mail_datas
This means that this table proably gets stuffed with data that does not belong there anymore.

Hi Guys ,

First of all : greets from the Netherlands :)
I like Feng Office a lot !! came around it a week ago.

Question : when browsing on a iPad, some fields are overlapping.  is this support going to be in one of the upcoming releases ?
