Components / Re: Translation interface plugin
« on: March 15, 2009, 01:28:02 am »
The way Joomla manages there languages is really good in my eyes? I'm no expert about this stuff but as my point of view Joomla has .INI files that contain all the text strings.

I don't know if this is loads of work but when this is done its really easy to make other languages!  Every application/component should have its own .INI file so customisation of components can be done easy.

When developers want to add there own component they should also use these .INI files so they can be translated the same easy way.

Anyway maybe OpenGoo already works this way? or this is not possible because of its core?

hi, why does the automatic update (/public/upgrade) not work?

and by the way, where can i check the current version of my install???

lg frank

The automatic update only works with stable releases! so when 1.3 stable gets released this function should work.

I can't wait to see it running and to see what it can deliver!
Like is it possible to e-mail the invoices to contacts?
and does it automatic send invoices monthly or yearly?

Thanks again.

Feature requests / Automatic classify e-mails to an workspace
« on: March 06, 2009, 01:45:24 pm »
Could you guys make it possible to let the system automatic classify e-mail from an certain e-mail account to an workspace?

Like an parameter at the "new mail account" page with the option to select an workspace? so when e-mail are retrieved they automatic get assigned to that workspace?

Thanks.

@justforkicks:

Hi:

The alpha version of the spreadsheet is almost complete. It was implemented as a stand alone module and we are integrating it with opengoo.

There are minor issues that we are taking care of before release.

bye!

It seems your project to build an stable spreadsheet module did never finish??
An live spreadsheet editor in OpenGoo would give an huge boost!

Ideas / Re: SMS Gateway

No comments yet, Another option is to use an mail to sms provider.

Make an compose sms page with an 160 characters max input box.
and an special subscribers input that inserts only the phonenumber + mail to sms provider.

see: http://mail-sms.com/ & http://world-text.com/

Getting Started / Re: Question regarding Email

You should talk to the folks at atmail.com see if they wold be interested in collaborating... maybe make an @mail module for OpenGoo?

I just took an look at atmail.com and there mail aplication looks nice but way to complicated/advanced for opengoo, in my opinion!

They have another tool called sync utility for outlook, and that seems to work just great syncing there calender with MS outlook.

Code: [Select]
What is the Atmail sync utility?
The utility allows you to sync your webmail account with Outlook. With it all contacts, calendar and task information you have with the WebMail account are transferred over to Outlook, and vice-versa.
How do I enable Mail sync with Outlook?
To sync your WebMail account with Outlook, do the following:
   1. First, download the Atmail-sync installation utility for Outlook 2000, 2003 or 2007 at http://atmail.com/websync/websync-54.exe
   2. After downloading, run the webmail-sync installation utility and install the software on your computer. After installation, restart Outlook and the new plugin will be automatically installed.

Maybe the OpenGoo devteam should take an look at that tool and maybe convert it for use with the OpenGoo package.

Another suggestion is to use the existing Roundcube webmail package for the OpenGoo webmail?
